One of the best ways of meeting people and making new friends is to join one of Crofton parish's many groups and clubs. Whatever your age or outlook, there is sure to be something to suit you.

The following groups are all pleased to welcome new members.

Tuesday

t The Mothers' Union - meets in the Church centre on the first Tuesday afternoon of each month.  It has a variety of interesting visiting speakers: occasionally lunch is served before the meetings. For more information email mothersunion@croftonparish.org.

t Cup of Tea & company - this friendship and support group is for anyone suffering the pain of bereavement. Please come along on the 2nd Tuesday of the month from 2pm to 3.30pm in Holy Rood Church Centre for a cup of tea, slice of cake and a little company with others who know how life can seem at this time. Wednesday 

t CAFE (Coffee and Friendship For Everyone) - this friendly welcoming group offers coffee and conversation in the church centre at Holy Rood starting at 9:45am. On the first Wednesday of the month there is also a short, informal service starting at 10.30am. Thursday

t Good Companions 1 - this group is for the more mature people living in Crofton parish. It meets on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month, in the afternoon at Holy Rood church centre for refreshments, entertainment and companionship.If you would like more information about this group please e-mail the office@croftonparish.org.uk or telephone the church office (01329 661154) on Mondays to Fridays from 9 am to 1 pm. 

t Good Companions 2 - this group meets in Holy Rood church centre on the first and third Thursdays of the month at 10:30am. There is time for a coffee and a chat before a hot lunch is served: this is followed by a speaker or entertainment. Friday

t Kaff - meets in the Foster Reading Rooms (the first house to the left of the Holy Rood church entrance) on most Friday mornings from 10:00am. Pop in for coffee and a chat. Home made cakes and preserves are also available. Sunday

t Friends' Tea Circle - meets on the 3rd Sunday of each month from 2.30pm-4pm in the Holy Rood church centre. Come and join us for tea, cake and a chat. A great place for some company and to meet new friends.
