Music

Music is a vital part of our services in Crofton.  The musical styles at the various services vary considerably.  The Sunday services at St Edmund's and the 11.10am service at Holy Rood use traditional hymns and are accompanied by the organ (Holy Rood's was restored and upgraded in 2008).

The 9.30am and 6.30pm Sunday services at Holy Rood use modern worship songs and styles: new songs are introduced regularly. There is a large pool of musicians at Crofton who make up the music groups at these two services.  Musical instruments used in the groups normally consist of guitars, drums and a keyboard.  Occassionally, wind and string instruments are also used.  Holy Rood church is equipped with a full sound system and mixing desk.
