Services At Holy Rood

Services at Holy Rood Church, Stubbington

There are three Sunday services at Holy Rood, each with its own distinct style.   The 9:30 am Family Service is an informal, lively service with a band and modern worship with Holy Communion on first Sundays. There are groups for all ages from from pre-school to teens, and there is a creche for the little ones. Tea and coffee is served in the church hall afterwards.

The 11.10 am service is a quieter, more traditional Holy Communion service on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month.

There are evening services every Sunday. Causeway, a service designed specially for adults with learning disabilities, although everyone is welcome, is on the 1st Sunday of the month from 6pm to 7.30pm. There is a service of Prayer and Praise at 6.30pm on 2nd, 4th and 5th Sundays, and Holy Communion at 6.30pm on 3rd Sundays.

Every Thursday at 10.30am there is a quiet service of Holy Communion.
